82 Degree Single Flute High Speed Steel Countersinks

Single Flute, High Speed Steel Countersinks are used to drill a tapered hole in a flat steel surface. The overall cut diameter is the wide end of the tapered hole. For example, a 1/2″ countersink is tapers from 1/2″ to zero. They are available in 60 and 82 degrees. A countersink is used to allow a screw or bolt to tighten down flush to the surface it is securing. They are available in sizes ranging from 1/2″ to 2″. These countersinks have a 1/2″ shank. They may be used in any portable drill, drill press, or lathe with a 1/2″ chuck.
