They Have A 135 Degree Split Point That Is Self Centering Which Reduces Thrust. These Drills Are Ideal For Drilling In Mild Steel Where Extra Lingth For Reach Is Required. They Have A Black Oxide Surface Treatment That Is Avrasion Resistant, Which Also Reduces Chip Welding And Improves Chip Flow. Sizes Smaller Than #52 And 1/16″ Have A Standard 118 Degree Point.
